Backsplash Inspiration

Do you watch Sarah 101?  I do... of course.  And I must say that the Fresh Country Kitchen that aired a few weeks ago was definitely my favorite episode.  How awesome is this kitchen?

My favorite part of the kitchen is that backsplash-- subway tiles laid in a herringbone pattern.  Amazing.  As much as I would love to do this backsplash in my own kitchen, I'm not even going to show it to Doug... because he'd either say "absolutely no way" OR agree to do it and then we'd spend the next 6 months trying to get it perfect!

Anyhow... nice work Sarah!

I forgot that she had a new series coming on! I'm sad that I've missed it thus far - I really love her style and ideas. And I'm looking forward to seeing how your kitchen turns out!

I have been sarah 101 obsessed lately - partially because i like her hair and am thinking my hair needs layers!
I saw this kitchen too, and thought hey my annex wood could do that, and the tile had me rethinking my own choice - oh well to late now!

I hadn't seen it, but I'd been contemplating doing the subway herringbone in my remodel. I hate HGTV. Candice Olsen and Sarah (she bugs me like crazy but does good design) are never on.

The one thing in that kitchen that I could not get behind was the light fixture over the island. But I loved the rest, including the tile!

I love the pattern tile backsplash as well. I love Sarah and her style. Her new series isn't playing in the US yet, so thanks for posting her pics!
