Loving the striped pillows. The grey and yellow one particularly caught my eye...
And they had a ton of different sheet sets to mix and match in fun colors and patterns. Each piece-- fitted sheets, flat sheets, pairs of pillowcases-- only $6.00. Love a great deal.
So a orange polka dot fitted sheet came home with me. Caleb's sheets get changed often for typical little boy reasons (he gets too sweaty... wets the bed... you know how it goes) so I figure you can never have too many fitted sheets. Plus... I like to mix and match them up and use one to cover his box spring. Much more fun-- and boy appropriate-- than a bed skirt. Right?
And I also picked up a few new hand towels. I love these towels in the herringbone pattern. I think it's time to start buying towels that aren't white-white. I've always loved white towels and have used them for years... but now that Caleb washes his hands on his own they tend to end up wet, on the floor... in a random room that's not the bathroom. Not so good for my white towels.
Even though Caleb doesn't really respect my white hand towels, he still has become a bit of a white towel snob. While we were visiting some family back in the prairies my Aunt was helping Caleb wash his hands in the bathroom. She directed him to an orange (or some other bright color) hand towel. He quickly informed her that we only have white towels in our house. She responded by asking Caleb how we manage to keep them clean (obviously, that's become an issue). What was Caleb's response? "We wash them."
Haha. Well maybe when YOU learn to wash them... and refrain from dragging them all over the house I'll bring the white ones back :)
