Planes, Tractors, Combines...

Today was heaven on earth for Caleb.  It all started with a plane ride first thing in the morning to Saskatchewan!!  I'm not going to lie... I was a bit nervous about being outnumbered by kids on the plane.  But they were great!

Caleb pretty much looked like this most of the morning.  Cartoons, earphones, snacks ... perfect.

Here's Emerson at her most awake state on the plane.  Not a peep out of her.  Why was I so worried?

After a nap, we went to the field to visit Uncle Joel hard at work.  During harvest he drives this tractor with a grain cart that unloads the four combines on the field and then loads the grain into the waiting trucks.  Caleb and I went for a ride in this bad boy.

We spent about a half hour on the field bouncing around in the tractor.  It was a dream come true for my little boy.

Here's the combine unloading the grain into the grain cart... Joel drives alongside the combine while it's unloading so that no one has to stop-- everything must be done as quick as possible.

As you can see, this was quite fascinating for Caleb...

After collecting the grain from all of the combines (or once the cart is full) Joel unloads the grain into one of the trucks.

Thanks for the fun day Joel!

Great pictures yet again. Today Isaiah asked if Caleb would play at the park with us. Guess we'll do that once you get back!
