why I love thrift stores...

That little seascape picture had me at hello when I was
browsing at a local thrift store a while back.

I love that it's unique and adds personality to my kitchen... and it was $4... how can you not
love that price tag!!

Happy long weekend everyone!

  1. It looks great. I love the pop of colour it adds. You can't beat $4 either. I love Goodwill too! BTW - I'm your latest Canadian blog follower! :)

I need help! I love your style and that's what we are going for. Everything is already purchased. We have paneling in our family room which butts up to our kitchen. The paneling is only on one wall in my family room. We are removing the wall in between the kitchen in the family room which will end up being a peninsula now. My question is the paneling is going to end and I'm worried the flow into the kitchen will not look good my idea was to do white subway tile around my entire window which is where my sink is but it's going to butt the subway tile is going to end up butting up to my paneling. Do you think it will be ok
