It's really really done

Today is an exciting day because I'm telling you now-- MY KITCHEN IS DONE!!!!

All the little electrical details, the touch up painting, the little tweaking... done.

I snapped this picture a few days ago to commemorate the occasion.  This is really my absolute favourite spot of the kitchen.  Fav.  Makes me smile and grin like a fool every time I walk into the room.

One of these days I'll take a few more pics to show you the kitchen in all it's fully finished glory.

But for now, I'm going to enjoy it.  And try to keep it clean...

Stay tuned for more!!

I am DYING! Your kitchen is AMAZING!!! Can't wait to see more pictures and *hopefully* a list of sources (i.e. did you go with the grout you were considering in that previous post? are those the misty carrera counterops?). It's perfection. Congratulations!

  14. I stumbled upon your blog via Pinterest this weekend... I was searching for "white kitchen" ideas we are about to start building a home and this is my #1 priority. THANK YOU so much for all of the details and source list!! I'm hoping for the exact same look and already have the hardware details written down! Quick question for you though if you don't mind mind --- did you go w/ a glossy subway tile or matte? I can't quite tell and that's my only thing to still decide on (well, besides finding the perfect quartz --- oh, the search)!!

Thanks so very much in advance!! Your kitchen is stunning - y'all did a fabulous job!

So beautiful! Can you please let me know how those maple shelves are attached? Is there a special cleat or bracket? And then how on the sides? Also did you put them on prior to tiling? I’m looking to do the same thing, but can’t figure out how to do a floating shelf that’s not thick. I also don’t have cabinets on the sides to attach to.
